A computer port acts as an interface between the computer and an external device. An example of a port is a Universal Serial Bus (USB). This is the most common port found on a computer and can be used for a range of uses. USBs can provide power to a device as well as transferring data between the device and the computer. USBs are most commonly found on devices such as phone chargers, webcams, printers, and keyboards.
